About the Event

In the first session of the series, we will explore the purpose of songs in musicals (from historical to practical contexts); the use of narrative, focus, personal journey and decision making; as well as viewing and identifying examples within performance. This theory-based workshop requires no preparation and can be taken as a standalone or in conjunction with other sessions in the Acting for Musical Theatre pack.
