About the Event

In the third session of the series, we will look at the "ideal" version of each character type, focusing on what their perfect idea of home life, work life and social life are. This will provide us with a foundation for exploring the domino effect that is caused one we, as creators, change one thing about a character. We will also analyze various literary characters and explore what has been altered by their maker in order to bring them away from the "ideal" and more into the realm of real and interesting. This theory-based workshop requires no preparation and can be taken as a standalone or in conjunction with other sessions in the Character Development pack.
