About the Event
This Musical Theatre workshop series offers a hands-on approach to performing songs in Musical Theatre, and what makes them different from a scene in a play or belting a song out at karaoke. Participants will work through songs together, breaking down the role of songs in musicals and identifying strategies to make a performance dynamic and successful, and receive on-going performance feedback and song suggestions from the instructor. Whether it’s your first time performing a Musical Theatre song or you’re a seasoned professional, participants of all experience- and skill-levels will benefit from this course. Please note that students are welcome to take this workshop multiple times, as we will not be covering the same material every time.
This course will be taught by Meg Adams.
