About the Event
In this course, participants will work through monologues and scenes, looking at acting technique, script analysis and characterization. It is a chance for actors to develop and practice their skills and build their monologue repertoire. This fall season we will be focusing on choices. Each week we will explore how to make choices for the characters in the monologues and scenes and also have some fun playing around with "wrong" choices. Although there is some theory involved, it is largely a practical course where the majority of each session will involve practicing, doing, watching and feeding back. Participants should have some basic acting experience (school plays, larger productions, acting classes, etc. all of this counts!). This course and the materials are delivered in English.
This course will be taught by Courtney Beamish.
