About the Event

An introduction into individual personality traits, character relationships and behaviour in given scenarios. This course is directed towards those developing a character which has been written by a playwright as well as those who are looking to create their own characters. Throughout this course, we will endeavor to gain a broad understanding of the five aspects of personality; identify the personality aspect that each gets along well and least well with and why; explore what causes each of the five personality aspects stress; how each personality type responds to stress (how might a character behave when stressed); and put our acquired knowledge to use creating some “ideal” characters, and then experimenting with how small changes to traits, situations, relationships and stress can mold them from “normal” or “stock” to interesting and engaging.
