About the Event
In Intro to Acting we’ll take you from the very beginnings of creating a character to bringing them to life on stage or screen. Throughout the course of this series we’ll touch on script analysis, physicality, objectives, voice, working with scene partners and more, using famous play and film scenes and diving into more obscure pieces to put our own personal spin on the work. This is a great jumping off point for people new to performance, or a comprehensive refresher for someone more experienced.
