About the Event
The LAMDA exams are an excellent addition to the resumes of anyone planning to head into theatre schools (particularly in the UK) and are equally a great way to keep the skills of working actors sharp. The training focuses on monologue work, script analysis and character development. In the higher levels, actors are also trained in a variety of theoretical areas. White Rabbit has had an excellent track record with the LAMDA exams, with all our actors scoring Merit or above, and most of our actors scoring Distinction. We have also had three actors so far achieve Bronze or Silver Medal standing. White Rabbit Theatre Company is one of the only companies in Switzerland which offers LAMDA training to adult actors as well as children and teens.
Registration of interest is not binding. Once a participant has registered interest, they will be contacted by White Rabbit to discuss the program and answer any questions.
All training sessions as well as the exams are fully online, via Zoom (therefore you do not have to be located in Switzerland to participate).
Sessions are offered on weekday evenings and on weekends. Once a participant has registered their interest, they will be contacted by White Rabbit to set up a session time (either weekly or biweekly) that works for them.
Participants sitting exams for Grades 1-5 will have 30 minute sessions (x6). Participants sitting exams Grades 6-8 will have 60 minute sessions (x6) or 30 minute sessions (x12).
Once a participant has registered their interest, they will be contacted by White Rabbit to set up a session time (either weekly or biweekly) that works for them. Sessions will happen over February and March.
Exam date and time will be set by LAMDA. Spring session exams are in April or May.
Grades are individually priced based on LAMDA exam prices for each grade. After registering interest, you will be contacted by White Rabbit to discuss costs and appropriate grade level for the participant.
*If you are interested in this program but are concerned about costs, please register your interest anyway and we would be happy to discuss playment options.
