Happy (almost) New Year! We've got a stacked line up ready and waiting for you. I'm here to announce 6 (!) events which are currently open for registration, and you can keep your eyes peeled throughout the year for more to come!

Below is a brief description of each of the new offerings, but in the interest of not having a novel-length post, more details and info can be found here (or by clicking on the relevant event heading). As always, please feel free to get in contact if you have any questions and we can't wait to see you in the new year!!

Bianca Montanaro is back and will be running a monthly weekend intensive. Each weekend will have a different theme and although they build on each other throughout the year, they are also designed to be able to function as stand-alone workshops as well. Participants who take part in at least three (3) weekend intensives, have the possibility of showing their work in a performance at the end of the year. Discounts are available if you register for consecutive workshops. The first three months are:

Jan. 24/25 - Character Through Psychology

Feb. 21/22 - Scenes from a Marriage

Mar. 28/29 - Spring Awakening (surrealism and symbolism)

After the resounding success of our pilot program this year, we are happy to announce we will be returning to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival again in August 2026! This year we will be taking a 45 minute piece involving three actors, which will be a mixture of monologues and scenes that have a common thematic throughline, allowing each actor an opportunity to shine on their own and play against each other. Rehearsals will be a mix of 1:1 one sessions (online and in person) as well as in-person ensemble rehearsals to put everything together. We will only be taking 3 actors this year, therefore audition spaces are limited. To register for an audition (February) and for more information on the program, please check it out!

We are extremely pleased to be welcoming Daniela Marcozzi from the Marcozzi Contemporary Theatre for an intensive weekend workshop in February that blends physical theatre, movement research, voice training and body-resonators. The workshop, influenced by the works of practitioners such as Grotowski, aims to let participants access, from the inside out, their source of impulses and lead them to transform and compose their energy, so that the performative act emerges from this powerful source. Note that whilst this is a physical workshop, it is adaptable for all abilities.

Our most-requested Intermediate Acting course will be back twice in 2026 - with a spring session and a fall session. As always, this six week course will give participants a chance to develop their monologue and scene study skills - providing a space for actors to work on monologues and scenes they already have in their catalogue as well as explore new characters and themes.

We are pleased to continue to offer our online LAMDA training (now with the potential for a limited number of in-person participants as well). We offer both an examination track (1:1 training sessions leading to a final examination with examiners from the Academy) and non-examination track (1:1 coaching sessions with no final examination), in the areas of Acting, Musical Theatre, Shakespeare, Verse and Prose, and Public Speaking. The first two examination weekends of 2026 are:

  • Feb. 28-Mar. 1

  • Apr. 11-12

More dates will be announced throughout the year. For more detailed information about the program and the two available tracks, you can visit our dedicated LAMDA page. You can also register your interest in our Courses section. (All inquiries are non-binding)

That's what we have slated so far for 2026. We can't wait to see you there and of course to hopefully bring you even more fun stuff in the coming months!!
