The announcement of our full 2020 season will be coming soon, but in the meantime, I have an audition announcement!!
The first play of the 2020 season (scheduled for February) will be Agatha Christie's The Rule of Three. This is a collection of three one-act plays of mystery and intrigue. The first, At the Seaside, is a light-hearted mystery about a missing emerald necklace. The second, The Rat, is a dark thriller about a couple, lured to a house, trapped like rats and framed for murder. And the third, The Patient, is a suspense about a woman who was apparently pushed from a balcony, and is now in the hospital, unable to speak.
Audition sides are not yet available (our director got married over the weekend, so was understandably indisposed) but they will be posted in the next day or two. We are looking for approximately 7 men and 5 women from a variety of different ages and backgrounds. Our intention is to double up (or rather, triple up) our casts, and have all our actors playing in two, if not all three plays.
Auditions will be held on the evening of November 22 (or by appointment if necessary) and rehearsals will start the following week. Due to the short nature of the rehearsal period (and the fact that the Christmas holidays are right in the middle) we are looking for people who are committed and capable of doing character work etc. at home as well as in the rehearsal room.
